Job summary

OSBORN LLC in Richmond, IN is seeking a hands-on manufacturing setup professional responsible for proper setup of production equipment, tooling, and process parameters to ensure readiness and first-piece approval.

You will use precision measuring tools and hand tools, follow daily setup instructions, maintain 5S discipline, and adhere to policies. Attending reliably and working well in teams or alone are essential.

Responsibilities

• Proper setup of existing jobs including installation of tooling, material, and setting approved process parameters.
• Obtain 1st piece approval following the First Article Inspection process.
• Effectively use quality measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, tape measure).
• Effectively use hand tools (e.g., Allen wrenches, adjustable wrenches, screwdrivers).
• Follow provided setup instructions based on daily assignments.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workplace per 5S policies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Responsible for obtaining 1st piece approval, following the departments “Frist Article Inspection’ Process.
• Effectively & efficiently use quality measuring tools. (Example; Micrometers, Tape Measure)
• Effectively & efficiently use hand tools. (Example; Allen Wrenches, Adjustable Wrenches, Screwdrivers.
• Ability to follow provided set-up instructions, based on daily assignments.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work place in accordance with the departments’ 5S policies.
