Schaeffler is seeking an industrious operator for our Wooster facility to set up and program operating machines, monitor first-run sequences, and oversee ramp‑up with support to operators. The role emphasizes maintaining accuracy, safety, and documentation in a busy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include machine inspection, adherence to documented procedures, and collaboration with maintenance to minimize downtime while ensuring quality products meet specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use measuring instruments and identify defects.
• Follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Operate medium-complex machinery for inspection.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Your Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to use instruments for measuring and to identify defects
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communications in English
• Ability to operate medium-complex machinery for use in inspection
• Good visual acuity
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Preferred:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with power tools
• Ability to read blueprints
