Job summary

Suite Living Senior Care seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager for our memory care and assisted living community. This full-time role runs 9:30 AM–5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with no on-call shifts, focusing on meal preparation, nutrition, and resident satisfaction.

You must hold ServSafe and CFPM licenses, manage budgeting and inventory, and ensure safety and sanitation in every meal served to residents. Collaboration with nursing and activities staff is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• ServSafe Certification is required.
• Certified Food Manager (CFPM) required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Dietary Manager/Head Cook in a senior living setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Know nutrition, recipes, and dietary needs and substitutions for residents.
• Demonstrate safe operation of kitchen equipment.
• Maintain kitchen and equipment cleanliness and sanitation.
• Order food and supplies; manage inventory; stay within budget.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and staff; coordinate with Assisted Living Director.
• Plan for special events and adapt menus to residents’ needs.
