Responsibilities include planning production, following recipes, and ensuring sanitation. Must be at least 18, with a high school diploma; ServSafe is required and healthcare dining experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ServSafe Certification is required.
• Preferred: 1 year of dining services experience in healthcare.
• Culinary school training is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and therapeutic diets preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare all food items for service.
• Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours.
• Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portion sizes.
• Follow standard recipes and special diet orders.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production regulations.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.
• Ensure food is prepared and served according to facility policies and dietary guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
