Responsibilities & Duties
- Analyze rejected electronic assemblies using test equipment, simulators, and troubleshooting skills to perform testing and inspections to determine root cause of failures with minimal instructions after training.
- End‑to‑end technical support for users/customers.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex product problems, define possible solutions, and clearly identify root cause.
- Resolve equipment failures.
- Adhere to safety guidelines in performing all job functions and duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Associate degree in electronics or equivalent technical school.
- Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to use multimeter and power supply.
- Repair, modification, and rework experience on PCB assemblies (manufacturing or engineering environments a bonus).
- Experience in technical support.
- Equivalent life experience.
Skills & Knowledge
- Basic electronic knowledge.
- Proficient with power and hand tools.
- Experience with the use of multimeter.
- Experience with circuit board troubleshooting.
- Soldering and desoldering skills with surface mount and through‑hole components.
- Communication skills for employee/customer interactions.
- Computer and math skills sufficient to perform department related tasks.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work/communicate effectively with people.
- Ability to follow established procedures.
- Efficient and able to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to handle and assemble small parts.
- Able to work with a diverse range of people.
Work Schedule
- Monday‑Friday.
- 8‑hour shift.
- Day shift.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
