Job summary

Baker Hughes Company is seeking a Services Senior Specialist - Applications Engineering to manage field resource deployment and coordinate with customers and internal teams. You will forecast regional resource needs, plan recruitment, and lead development initiatives to support projects at customer sites.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multiple stakeholders, adherence to contracts, and balancing on-site engagement with flexible work patterns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services).
  • Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Resource Management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
  • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.

Job description

To be responsible for all resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to maintaining, repair and refurbishing sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), managing maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Develop an operational year plan for the own department activities. Suggests improvements in products, processes and procedures. Contributes to plan of larger unit.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for field resource deployment planning and execution to meet customer and business metrics
  • Interface with the customer service managers on issues escalation
  • Develop long range forecast for region resource needs
  • Develop and execute short and long-range resource plans based on resource forecasts and region business commitments including recruitment, skills reviews, and resource development through advance level training Works together with high level people from the business and SPB and EB level. Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done. Handles standardized project processes. Guidelines for choosing the right actions. Processes and procedures are frequently updated by other functions and have to be implemented in the department. Handles diverse clients in a region. Works on the basis of predefined contracts and frameworks. Some latitude to deviate from those conditions.
Required Qualifications
