Insight is seeking an Operations Specialist to be based onsite at our Hanover Park, IL office. The role involves processing orders for technology devices, coordinating returns and exchanges, and ensuring SLA adherence.

• Enter orders in a timely manner for shipping, retrieval, and exchange of technology devices for assigned accounts, adhering to SLA.
• Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies, manage receipt dates, and work with distribution to resolve issues.
• Communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, to deliver client-facing messages and respond to inquiries or complaints promptly.
• Work with vendors on RMAs for damaged, unused products and manage vendor back-orders and ETA.
• Maintain accurate costing, classification, and status of products; report billing/inventory discrepancies; coordinate with finance as needed.
• Manage team mailbox and ensure timely responses to internal and external inquiries.

Expect moderate noise levels akin to a typical business office environment with computers, phones, and printers, as well as light foot traffic. Teammates should be comfortable working in a confined space and capable of sitting at a computer terminal for extended periods. As a SOC, you will get to:Enter orders in a timely manner for the shipping, retrieval, and exchange of technology devices for specific accounts, while adhering to the clients Service Level Agreements (SLA).Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies, proactively managing receipt dates, working with distribution employees to resolve issues regarding lost and damaged products.Become an expert of information regarding specific products, programs, and initiatives of assigned vendors and product categories.Clear communication skills are required to deliver client facing messages verbally and in writing, and the ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints in a timely fashion.Work with vendors in acquiring Return Merchandise Authorization (RMAs) for damaged, unused products.Manage all aspects of assigned vendors, back-orders, and estimated time of arrivals (ETA), as well as the handling and tracking of warranty claims.Work with internal personnel on problems relating to parts ordering information.Responsible for maintaining accurate costing, classification, status of assigned products, identify billing and inventory discrepancies, and report appropriately.
