Overview

*Remote Opportunity - Candidates MUST BE geographically located within the contiguous United States*

As a Services Operations Analyst, you will help accelerate revenue growth of our Annuity Services Business Development Team by supporting our sales motion to create quality deals. You will prepare and review documents such as Annuity Services contracts, Customer facing proposals, and sub-contractor scope of works. You will also obtain and review pricing, ensure proper approvals are obtained, and usher the deal through the contracts phase.

YOUR IMPACT

The essential functions of this position include:

  • Support the Business Development team throughout the deal lifecycle, from proposal to closing.

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for quoting, pricing, deal flow, and order processing for the Business Development organization.
  • Manage and own assigned Conga matters during approval process to ensure all fields are accurate to expedite the final booking process.
  • Review deal proposals to ensure compliance with company policies and financial targets
  • Prepare customer-facing documents, including quotes and contracts
  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with critical business partners (e.g. Contracts Team, Business Development, Annuity Services, etc.) expedite the review and approval process.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline deal desk processes and improve efficiency.
  • Drive system and process enhancements to improve the team’s scalability and efficiency
  • Provide consultative guidance to Business Development reps regarding deal structure and pricing along with assisting in the creation of quotes within the pricing tool and contracts within Conga.
  • Make adjustments to quote / contract templates to suit customer-specific requirements and maintain alignment with company policies.
  • Interact with the Business Development Team to ensure pricing guidelines are followed; respectfully manage or escalate requests that fall outside of established policies.
  • Collaborate with the Billing Team to ensure all contracts are formatted to facilitate a seamless transition to the invoicing stage, minimizing delays and errors.
  • Work closely with the Legal Department to review and amend Terms and Conditions, and adjust contractual language as needed to comply with customer and partnership agreements
  • Analyze, prioritize, and assess customer requirements and issues
  • Identify lessons learned and adapt capture techniques, strategy, and actions for future opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in a communications or technical discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize a vision for winning, to develop a capture plan that implements the vision and translates into win themes, to adjust the vision as the procurement unfolds, and to focus and manage the capture activities and team (internal and external) to achieve the vision through final proposal submission and assist in preparing the execution team to perform quickly post award
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end contract processes, including review and approval workflows and cross-functional coordination.
  • Extensive experiences with the conventions of form, structure, and notation of technical writing
  • Prior experience with facilitating meetings (e.g., solutioning, capture, planning, gate reviews, briefings) with a variety of stakeholders (e.g., customers, executives, management, delivery teams, subject matter experts, contracts, finance, account managers)
  • Ability to create pricing estimates, LOEs, and org charts for complex technical proposals
  • Demonstrated professional and technical writing capabilities (e.g., white papers, RFI responses, other proposal artifacts as assigned)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills

Greatly Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with Conga Contracts software
  • Previous sales support experience
POSITION SPECIFICS

The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $60,000 and $80,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered.
