Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience developing web applications, portals, or enterprise self-service solutions.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Service Portal development and customization.
• Experience developing portal pages, widgets, components, forms, navigation, and other user-facing functionality.
• Experience developing dashboards, knowledge interfaces, or automated notification functionality.
• Ability to translate user needs into functional web and portal solutions.
• Understanding of responsive design, usability, accessibility, and UX principles.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving portal issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain web-based applications and self-service user portals.
• Develop and customize ServiceNow Service Portal experiences to support customer and end-user requirements.
• Build intuitive self-service capabilities for quick access to information, requests, and issue resolution.
• Develop and enhance Virtual Agent experiences and automated user-support capabilities.
• Create operational dashboards with meaningful, actionable information for users and stakeholders.
• Develop automated self-help tools and interfaces to reduce manual support.
• Build and maintain knowledge base interfaces for easy information access.
• Develop automated notification interfaces supporting business processes and service requests.
• Translate business and UX requirements into portal solutions.
• Analyze user needs to determine content, functionality, performance, and capacity requirements.
• Customize portal pages, widgets, navigation, forms, and UI elements.
• Integrate web/portal solutions with ServiceNow applications and other systems.
• Develop responsive interfaces for desktop and mobile experiences.
• Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, admins, analysts, and leads on design and implementation.
• Troubleshoot portal functionality and performance concerns.
• Support testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of portals and web apps.
• Apply accessibility and security principles throughout development.
• Maintain technical documentation for portal configurations and integrations.
• Identify opportunities to improve self-service adoption.
