Job summary

Gravity IT Resources is seeking a ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Specialist for a remote contract engagement. You will design, configure, and improve vulnerability workflows, automate ticket lifecycles, and strengthen data quality across scanners and ServiceNow integrations.

You will partner with vulnerability management teams and application owners to streamline remediation workflows, implement robust access controls, and produce clear documentation and testing support for workflow changes.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response or Unified Security Exposure Management.
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability lifecycle management and remediation workflows.
  • Experience configuring ServiceNow workflows, business rules, ACLs, forms, lists, notifications, and automation logic.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and improve ServiceNow vulnerabilities workflows
  • Develop and maintain logic for vulnerability ticket creation, updates, closure, reopening, false positive handling, deferrals, and deduplication
  • Enhance integrations between ServiceNow and scanners such as Tenable.io VM, Tenable Web App Scanning, and Tanium
  • Build and maintain business rules, scheduled jobs, ACLs, import sets, and transform maps
  • Improve ticket data capture, including scanner evidence, source requests, affected URLs, vulnerability context, and metadata
  • Troubleshoot lifecycle issues like duplicate records, inaccurate timestamps, and synchronization gaps
  • Support role-based access, bulk actions, filtering, and usability improvements for analysts and owners
  • Partner with stakeholders to recommend workflow improvements based on current processes
  • Produce and maintain documentation for configurations and procedures
  • Support testing, validation, and user acceptance activities for workflow changes

Job Title: ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Specialist

Location Requirements: Remote

Job Type: Contract

Role Overview:
You will support and improve ServiceNow workflows related to vulnerability management. Your focus will be on automating ticket lifecycle processes, enhancing data quality, and increasing operational efficiency through configuration and integration. You’ll work with vulnerability scanners and assist in streamlining workflows to reduce manual effort and strengthen controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and improve ServiceNow vulnerabilities workflows

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience configuring ServiceNow workflows, business rules, ACLs, forms, lists, notifications, and automation logic
  • Experience supporting integrations with security scanners or vulnerability data sources
  • Ability to analyze process gaps and translate needs into scalable ServiceNow solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy, workflow consistency, and auditability
  • Ability to work collaboratively with vulnerability management teams, application owners, security analysts, and platform administrators
