Job summary

GuidePoint Security LLC is seeking a Vulnerability Management Engineer (ServiceNow) to design, build, and operate VR and Security Operations capabilities for clients in the Mid-Atlantic region. The role emphasizes end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle management, automation, and risk-based remediation aligned with client objectives.

The position requires ServiceNow Security Operations experience, API integrations with scanners, and CMDB/ITOM familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• 1–2+ years in ServiceNow Security Operations and CMDB integration.
• Hands-on experience configuring VR and Security Operations, including Flow Designer.
• Experience integrating vulnerability scanners or security tools with ServiceNow via APIs.
• Knowledge of CVSS, risk assessment, exploitability, and SLA-driven remediation.
• Familiarity with ITOM concepts (CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping).

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support ServiceNow VR to manage end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle.
• Build remediation workflows, groups, assignment rules, and calculators using Flow Designer and Business Rules.
• Configure risk scoring and prioritization models to drive risk-based remediation.
• Configure and maintain ServiceNow Security Operations suite including SIR and configurations.
• Manage vulnerability lifecycle end-to-end: intake, correlation, prioritization, remediation tracking, verification, and reporting.
• Design dashboards, KPIs, and SLA monitoring for leadership visibility.
