Systems Analyst

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. Our work depends on a Systems Analyst Associate joining our team to analyze user needs, perform research, and conduct functional analysis and testing on a ServiceNow project.

Systems Analyst

As a Systems Analyst you will lead the collection, capture, and management of user requirements from prioritization, concept development, and feature writing to support development and deployment. You will also provide expertise in business process and system analysis, design, testing and enhancements.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect and perform basic analysis on information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system
• Prepare basic functional process charts describing existing and proposed operations along with routine logic flow of basic systems
• May conduct elementary form design and layout activities
• Support the preparation of systems specifications
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing systems development, operation and maintenance
• Understand the needs of stakeholders and convey them to developers
• Provide expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change management projects, and performance measures for basic business process engagements
• Identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define scope, objectives, and acceptance criteria of the product, including testing parameters
• Identify and eliminate duplication, streamline processes, and conduct business improvement initiatives

The likely salary range for this position is $60,174 - $74,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
