Job summary

Spatial Front, Inc. is seeking a ServiceNow Solutions Architect to lead the design and evolution of the ServiceNow platform for a federal client. You will define end-to-end technical architecture for the secure, scalable ICM solution and ensure configurations, data, security, and reporting align with best practices.

You will develop architecture diagrams, data models, and integration plans, guiding cross-functional teams through architecture reviews and deployments in a hybrid remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (computer science, IT, or equivalent).
• 10+ years of professional experience, with 3+ in Agile environments.
• Expert knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and ICM or equivalent case-management solutions.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, OAuth, and secure data transfer patterns.
• Ability to lead architecture reviews and mentor technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Decide when to use out-of-box, configuration, or extensions.

(SFI), a two-time USA Today Top Workplaces awardee and Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking a ServiceNow Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and evolution of the ServiceNow platform for a federal client. In this role, you will define the end-to-end technical architecture for NSF's secure, scalable ServiceNow ICM solution and ensure all configurations, integrations, data, security, and reporting components align with platform best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop solution architecture diagrams, data models, interface designs, security models, and environment strategies.
• Define the ICM case taxonomy, lifecycle states, assignment logic, evidence/document handling, and role model.
• Determine when to use out-of-box capabilities, configuration, scoped applications, or approved extensions.
• Design REST/SOAP integrations and data exchanges with NSF grant-management and enterprise systems.
• Define logging, audit, reporting, retention, and monitoring approaches.
• Lead architecture reviews and resolve cross-cutting technical issues.
• Guide release, update-set/source-control, CI/CD, and production deployment practices.
• Support security authorization, performance testing, disaster recovery, and operational transition planning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, electrical engineering, math, or equivalent technical studies (required).
• 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in an Agile environment.
• Expert knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and ICM or comparable case-management solutions.
• Deep experience with App Engine, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Workspace/UI Builder, ACLs, ATF, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of scoped application design, data modeling, upgrade-safe configuration, and platform governance.
• Experience designing federal integrations using REST, SOAP, OAuth, MID Server, and secure data-transfer patterns.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF, FedRAMP, audit logging, encryption, records management, and least privilege.
• Ability to evaluate technical tradeoffs and communicate architecture decisions to technical and executive audiences.
• Experience leading code/design reviews and mentoring technical teams.

Desired Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect strongly desired
• CSA; CAD; CIS-ITSM or other relevant CIS credentials
• CISSP or cloud architecture certification preferred

Additional Information

• Clearance: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. • Salary: $130,000 – $190,000 annually. SFI maintains broad salary ranges to account for variations in skills, experience, market conditions, and location.
