Job summary

University of Utah Health is seeking a ServiceNow developer to join the Information Technology team in a hybrid role based in Salt Lake City. The candidate will design, develop and oversee quality of complex software systems with emphasis on the ServiceNow platform.

Required are strong SDLC and Agile skills, plus hands-on experience with scripting, integrations, and enterprise software tools. This role supports a patient-focused health system and requires collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Three years of web and software development experience.
• Experience with healthcare domain and systems integrations preferred.
• Experience with BizTalk is a valuable plus.

Responsibilities

• D developer within the ServiceNow team to complete development activities within the platform.
• Analyze and evaluate existing systems with some oversight and define problems, data availability, reports requirements and system designs issues.
• Assist in design, configuration, and development of custom applications and software modules using scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub).
• Assist in design and develops applications using integrations (REST/SOAP, JSON/XML) using Integration Hub/MID Server.
• Apply SDLC concepts and Agile methodologies; work within a team to improve the platform.
