Hybrid: Chicago, IL or Tempe, AZ (3 days on-site)

We are looking for a strategic ServiceNow Security Consultant to lead the development and implementation of security best practices across our ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities:

• Define and enforce security standards, access control models, and role-based permissions.
• Collaborate with the Identity Management Systems (IDM) team for seamless integration and automation of user provisioning.
• Establish and document governance frameworks and audit procedures.
• Review user access and security configurations regularly to ensure compliance.
• Advise on security impacts of new feature deployments and customizations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on ServiceNow security.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow, focusing on platform security, access control, and administration.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow ACLs, roles, groups, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with identity management systems.
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes related to ServiceNow architecture and security.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist.
• Experience with ServiceNow GRC/IRM module.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27701, or other security frameworks.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with identity providers using SAML, OAuth, SCIM, or LDAP.
• Experience in large enterprise environments with complex role structures.
• Experience supporting audits or regulatory compliance initiatives (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
