Job summary

Huntington seeks a ServiceNow Platform Engineer to provide advanced technical support, design, and development for our ServiceNow environment across ITSM, CSM, and related modules. You will ensure platform stability, security, and performance while guiding teams on best practices and debt remediation.

The role requires strong OO programming skills, extensive ServiceNow experience, and the ability to train internal staff and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of ServiceNow platform engineering or related technical experience.
• Experience with ITSM/CSM/IR M and related ServiceNow modules is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve issues against ServiceNow applications.
• Advise internal teams regarding process and technology inefficiencies within the platform.
• Perform routine maintenance including performance monitoring and error remediation.
• Maintain and improve platform stability by adopting best practices.
• Apply ServiceNow best practices and remediation of technical debt on the Now platform.
• Manage Instance Security, User/Group access, roles and ACLs.
• Provide training and knowledge sharing across the platform to internal teams and partners.
• Develop reporting strategy and maintenance plan for platform-wide reporting.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP).

Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support. Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends. May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff.
