Job summary

Unisys Corporation is seeking a motivated ServiceNow Developer with integration experience to join our ServiceNow Integration team. This role involves scripting and building ticket-exchange (eBonding) integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications using ShareLogic Unifi, and supporting those integrations once they are live.

You will work with REST and SOAP services, JSON and XML data, and ITSM processes, developing and testing integrations, monitoring health, and assisting

Qualifications

• Around 2-6 years of experience in ServiceNow development with integration tools.
• Hands on knowledge in at least one: REST / SOAP integrations and IntegrationHub.
• ShareLogic Unifi or other eBonding platforms experience.
• Knowledge of SQL queries and database concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build and customize ticket-exchange integrations using ShareLogic Unifi Integration Designer.
• Develop integrations between ServiceNow and end-point apps with bi-directional sync.
• Build and unit test services and integration scripts with stubs or mock endpoints.
• Create reusable integration templates to speed onboarding.
• Participate in SIT/UAT and analyze integration logs and HTTP requests.
• Monitor integration health and resolve failed or stuck messages.

What success looks like in this role:

We're looking for a motivated ServiceNow Developer with integration experience to join our ServiceNow Integration team. This role involves scripting and building ticket-exchange (eBonding) integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications using ShareLogic Unifi, and supporting those integrations once they are live.

Skill Set:

• ServiceNow platform development (server-side and client-side JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, Flow Designer)
• ShareLogic Unifi (Integration Designer, integrations, messages, actions, heartbeat monitoring)
• eBonding / ticket-exchange integrations (Incident, Request, Change, Problem)
• REST and SOAP web services (inbound and outbound), Scripted REST APIs
• JSON, XML and XSD / WSDL
• ServiceNow IntegrationHub, Import Sets, Transform Maps and MID Server
• Authentication and security (OAuth 2.0, Basic, API keys, mTLS, credential management)
• Protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, SFTP) and asynchronous messaging patterns
• ITSM processes and the ServiceNow data model
• Automated Test Framework (ATF) and integration testing
• Source control, update sets / scoped apps and DevOps practices
• Working knowledge of B2B / multi-vendor integration domain
• Experience integrating with Jira, Azure DevOps, Salesforce or other ITSM platforms - will be an added advantage
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD) - will be an added advantage

Roles and Responsibilities

• Build and customize ticket-exchange integrations using ShareLogic Unifi Integration Designer, from no-code configuration to pro-code scripting.
• Develop integrations between ServiceNow and various end-point applications, including bi-directional sync of states, comments, work notes and attachments.
• Build and unit test services and integration scripts, using stubs / mock endpoints.
• Create reusable integration templates (golden images) to speed up partner and customer onboarding.
• Participate in test case execution (SIT / UAT) and carry out investigation by analysing integration logs, message payloads and HTTP requests.
• Monitor integration health, handle failed or stuck messages, replay transactions and resolve integration issues.
• Support Unifi and ServiceNow upgrades by regression-testing integrations.
• Maintain integration documentation and follow ServiceNow development best practices.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the ServiceNow Integrations platform and must be able to act with a sense of urgency and adapt to changing priorities.

• Around 2-6 years of experience in ServiceNow development with integration tools
• Hands on technical knowledge in at least one of the following:
• ServiceNow REST / SOAP integrations and IntegrationHub
• ShareLogic Unifi, or other eBonding / ticket-exchange integration platforms
• Knowledge of SQL queries and database concepts
• Knowledge of cloud-native solutions using Azure / AWS / Google Cloud
• Good written and verbal communication, including with external technical teams
• Acts with a sense of urgency and is a problem solver.
