Job summary

Tempus is seeking a ServiceNow Engineer I in Chicago to join our Technology team. You will configure, customize, and maintain ITSM and HRSD applications, work with cross-functional teams, and support upgrades and integrations.

You will apply fundamentals of ServiceNow administration, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, and Agile practices to deliver reliable, scalable solutions with attention to documentation and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on ServiceNow admin/developer experience.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM modules and ServiceNow architecture.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and ATF.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize core ServiceNow applications, including ITSM and HRSD.
• Analyze requirements and deliver simple, out-of-the-box solutions.
• Troubleshoot incidents, fix platform bugs, and document for frontline agents.
• Build and maintain the Automated Test Framework (ATF) for upgrades and deployments.
• Maintain integrations (REST/SOAP) with third-party tools.
• Participate in Scrum/Agile ceremonies and communicate status.
