Position: ServiceNow Developer with IT Asset Management

Location: Remote

Mandatory Skills:

1. IT Asset Management - HAM Pro, SAM Pro

Job Description:

Having 6+ years of experience with SAMPro, ServiceNow, and asset management software. Experience in analysis, requirements gathering, and customization of various ServiceNow modules as per client requirements including but not limited to ServiceNow SAM Pro, HAM, Discovery, Incident Management, Service Catalog, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, HRSD, etc. Experience in configuring Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM). Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform, including IT Asset Management, CMDB, Discovery, Procurement, and other relevant modules. Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodology and configuring Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD). Experience in migrating changes across various system landscapes via Update Sets and developing custom reports. Good understanding of data loading principles and experience with troubleshooting and resolution of problems within ServiceNow.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of IT hardware assets, from procurement to disposal. This includes tracking, maintaining, and ensuring accurate asset data in ServiceNow, optimizing asset utilization, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. The role requires expertise in asset management processes, configuration management, and a strong understanding of integration with other ITSM modules. Experience in automation and process optimization will be an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
2. Ensure accurate asset tracking and data management in ServiceNow, from initial request to retirement.
3. Manage software licenses, entitlements, and compliance to ensure proper usage and reduce financial risk.
4. Optimize software license usage, track renewals, and minimize unnecessary expenditures.
5. Perform software audits and ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
6. Track hardware assets (laptops, servers, network equipment) and ensure accurate records in the ServiceNow platform.
7. Coordinate asset procurement, inventory management, and disposal processes.
8. Ensure compliance with hardware policies, including warranty and end-of-life management.
9. Integrate SAM Pro and HAM Pro modules with other ServiceNow platforms (such as ITSM, ITOM) to provide seamless asset tracking and reporting.
10. Automate asset management processes where possible, improving efficiency and accuracy.
11. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and updates related to SAM Pro, HAM Pro, and asset management tools.

Certifications Required:

Should be certified in any of the following:

1. CIS ITOM
2. CIS Discovery
3. CIS Service Mapping
4. CIS Event Management
5. CIS Cloud Provisioning and Governance

Must have certificates excluding the ones above:
