Job summary

Argo Cyber Systems is supporting a U.S. Government customer on a large mission critical program to design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment. We seek a ServiceNow Developer to support customer operations and improve platform capabilities within an agile delivery model.

The role requires extensive ServiceNow development experience, ITSM expertise, and the ability to implement integration components and custom portals. U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI possible.
• Must obtain DHS Suitability.
• Experience: ServiceNow development and ITSM implementation.
• Experience with gathering requirements, data modeling, and schema design.
• 10+ years of software development; 5+ years in ServiceNow development.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical design and ensure high availability of the environment.
• Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules and technical solutions.
• Develop custom integration components and legacy system integration.
• Document and update policies and SDLC controls while promoting agile development.
• Support ServiceNow Administrators with incident resolution as needed.
• Design and develop new ServiceNow applications and services.
• Assist with release level of effort estimation.

Job Description Argo Cyber Systems is supporting a U.S. Government customer on a large mission critical development and sustainment program to design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment, including introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats. Argo Cyber Systems is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support customer environment operations.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the technical design for architecture, responsible for overall code quality ensuring a highly available and recoverable environment
• Assist with the design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules and technical solutions
• Develop custom integration components and integrate legacy systems with platform using mid-server and other relevant technologies
• Document, maintain and update policies, procedures and controls for the platform operation and software development life cycle while promoting agile development.
• Assist ServiceNow System Administrators with incident resolution, as needed
• Designs and develops new ServiceNow applications and services
• Assist ServiceNow Business Analyst in estimating release level of effort

Required Skills

• U.S. Citizenship

• Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in ServiceNow development

• Minimum 5+ Years' experience with ServiceNow development
• Minimum 5+ Years' experience of developing a custom service portal
• Minimum 5+ Years of experience with Application Experience: Incident, Problem, Change Management, Knowledge, Service Catalog
• Experience with process and solution integration, workflow design/configuration, and reporting
• Experience with Integration components (SSO, LDAP, e.g.) and web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, and Web Services)
• Experience with LDAP Integration, ServiceNow Development APIs, and diagnosing performance-related issues

• Experience with process development and deployment
• Web Service Integration (API Web Services) experience
• Single Sign-on configuration and administration

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree in a related discipline may substitute for two (2) years of experience. A PhD may substitute for four (4) years of experience.

• ITIL Foundation v4 Certified or willing to complete one year from hire
