ARGO Cyber Systems is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to design, develop, and deploy advanced cybersecurity capabilities and solutions for a mission-critical government program. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, translating business needs into technical architectures, and delivering secure, scalable systems.
You will mentor engineers, apply Lean-Agile principles, and drive enterprise architecture across multiple platforms, with a focus on cloud, data, and network
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance; TS/SCI eligibility.
- 10+ years software development experience.
- 6+ years Agile software development experience.
- Experience with Lean-Agile principles, metrics, and technology.
- Understanding of complex data models.
- Strong background in AWS, database, networking, and software development solutions.
- Experience with multi-tiered architecture using microservices.
- Development of identity and access management solutions.
- Creative, innovative thinking and advanced decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of technology trends and championing new ideas.
- Experience with Agile tools, including JIRA and Confluence.

- Experience with DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD concepts, and tools like Git, Jenkins, Cloudbees.
- Knowledge of containerized applications and microservices architectures.
- Understanding of AWS and/or Azure cloud architectures.
- Technical knowledge of cybersecurity attack techniques.
- Experience implementing systems into production.
- Developing malware analysis systems and performance metrics using Grafana.
- Agile software development methodology certification (e.g. SCRUM Master) is highly desired.
- AWS Associate Architect certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (Twelve (12) years of experience (for a total of twenty-two (22) or more years) in lieu of a degree).
