Overview
We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of the SES Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio‑visual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high‑growth markets.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the ServiceNow platform including, but not limited to, ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, CSM, Service Portal, HR Module, Asset Management, Change Management, Custom Development, etc.
- Develop code, hold code reviews, check in code, and help build the pipeline for continuous integration/continuous delivery.
- Customize ServiceNow applications, facilitate rollout of new applications and modules, configure application UI, workflow, and API.
- Create and maintain configuration management on the ServiceNow platform across all environments.
- Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow administrators to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests.
- Confer with Mission Partners to define their information technology goals and advise in the re‑engineering of business processes to meet those goals.
- Provide expertise in standards and validations (e.g., ISO 9000).
- Provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer.
- Act as key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise‑wide integration of re‑engineering efforts.
- Champion awareness training and implementation of business processes.
- Develop process documentation, testing, workflows, and work plans.
- Lead workflow presentations to leadership and Mission Partners as required.
- Coordinate with multiple departments within and outside the customer’s organization to accomplish project tasks.
- Independent self‑starter and proactive at developing solutions and solving business problems using ServiceNow.
Qualifications
Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; ACTIVE TS/SCI w/ POLYGRAPH REQUIRED
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field with 7+ years of related experience; or a Master’s with 5+ years of experience
- Experience with ServiceNow tools
- Understanding of best practices across both commercial and federal sectors as it relates to workflow and process management
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to team with industry partners
- Ability to communicate effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to estimate work effort requirements efficiently and appropriately
- Strong public speaking skills and professional demeanor required
- Experience in scrum and agile frameworks for development to include task management, performing stand‑ups and sprint reviews, gathering requirements, and creating documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow developer certification, preferably Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Application Specialist
- Experience in HTML/CSS
- Experience with Insider Threat programs
