Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks an experienced ServiceNow Developer focused on Discovery and Integrations to support the Department of Transportation. This contract-to-hire role is remote, with on-call rotations and no travel. The candidate must be a U.S.

citizen or permanent resident with an active Public Trust clearance and be able to work on a w2 basis. Responsibilities include designing and supporting the ServiceNow ITSM system, leading integrations, and delivering new functionality while applying SDLC

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience with 6+ years in administration of a major Service Management System (preferably ServiceNow).
• Current ServiceNow CIS-Disco certification.
• Current ServiceNow CSA certification.
• Experience with SOAP and REST-based API integrations.
• Experience with SNMP technologies supporting Discovery Patterns.

Responsibilities

• Perform implementation, administration, configuration, and development within the ServiceNow ITSM suite, including specialty areas.
• Design the DOT Service Management System and support SMS operations across the development lifecycle.
• Determine integration methods, directionality, and attributes for data exchange.
• Participate in data normalization prior to import into ServiceNow.
• Participate in platform, process, and integration testing.
• Develop and maintain Discovery schedules and patterns; define roles for other integrations.
• Fulfill the Enterprise Integration Manager role and ensure reliable SMS delivery.
• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services; deliver new functionality.
• Manage SMS development activities across the full lifecycle and apply SDLC/DevOps practices.
• Respond to and resolve escalated SMS service requests and incidents; assist platform admin with incidents.

Our client seeks an experienced ServiceNow Developer focused on Discovery and Integrations to support the Department of Transportation. The role will design and support the Service Management System, lead integrations, and deliver new functionality while applying SDLC and DevOps principles. The position is full-time with a rotating on-call shift and no travel.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Public Trust clearance. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $70.00 to $80.00/hr. w2

Experience Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant IT experience, including at least 6 years in administration services for a major Service Management System, preferably ServiceNow.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow Discovery and Integrations.
• Current ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Discovery (CIS-Disco) certification.
• Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery and Integrations.
• Experience with SNMP technologies that support Discovery Patterns.
• Experience with SOAP and REST-based API integrations.
• Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Six years of experience may substitute for a degree.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
