Job summary

Delan Associates, Inc. in New York City seeks a ServiceNow specialist with 4+ years of ITSM experience to customize and upgrade ServiceNow instances for a government agency.

You will configure UI actions, business rules, scripts, and REST/SOAP integrations while mapping dependencies with Service Mapping, ADM, SolarWinds, Dynatrace or Device42. A related bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Business, Information Management, or a related field.
• Experience developing and configuring ITSM tools, especially ServiceNow.
• Proficiency in JavaScript development.
• Experience with SQL and MySQL databases.
• Knowledge of ITIL foundations and best practices.
• Experience configuring ServiceNow components (UI Actions, UI Policy, UI Pages, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Catalog Client Scripts, Catalog UI Policies, Email Scripts).
• Experience with ServiceNow upgrades and large government agency environments.
• Experience with Discovery, and Application Dependency mapping tools (Service Mapping, ADM, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Device42).

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize ITSM tools, focusing on ServiceNow implementations.
• Configure and upgrade ServiceNow components including UI Actions, Policies, Pages, Rules, and Scripts.
• Integrate REST and SOAP web services.
• Map dependencies using Service Mapping/ADM and related tools for accurate discovery.
• Work within a large government agency environment.
• Apply ITIL foundations to projects and processes.

• ServiceNow version upgrades.


• Working in a large government agency.


• Working knowledge of Discovery and Application Dependency mapping with tools such as ServiceNow Service Mapping, Application Dependency Mapping (ADM), SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor, Dynatrace or Device42.
