Job summary

OakTree Staffing in Tulsa, OK seeks a Senior ServiceNow CMDB & Integration Developer to lead CMDB design, development, and ongoing support on the ServiceNow platform. You will act as SME for CMDB integrations and ITOM data quality, partnering with IT teams to improve asset visibility and service mapping.

You will design automated data ingestion and transformation pipelines, mentor developers, perform code reviews, and help establish scalable CMDB solutions aligned with CSDM standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing and administering solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong experience supporting CMDB implementations.
• Experience developing and supporting Service Graph Connectors, REST, and SOAP API integrations.
• Strong understanding of JSON, XML, and data transformation methodologies.
• Experience developing with Import Sets, Transform Maps, IntegrationHub, Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer automations.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM capabilities including Service Mapping and Event Management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex data quality issues.
• Experience performing data analysis, data profiling, data validation, and reconciliation activities to evaluate new and existing datasets prior to integration into ServiceNow.
• Strong understanding of CMDB data models, CSDM concepts, CI relationships, identification and reconciliation rules, normalization concepts, and authoritative data source management.
• Experience designing and implementing data migration, onboarding, and transformation strategies for integrating enterprise technology data into the ServiceNow CMDB.
• Knowledge of data engineering concepts including ETL/ELT processes, source-to-target mapping, data normalization, data pipeline design, transformation frameworks, and data quality management.
• Experience analyzing large datasets using SQL, spreadsheets, reporting platforms, or data analytics tools to identify trends, anomalies, duplicates, and opportunities for data quality improvements.
• Experience evaluating and mapping third-party source system data structures to CMDB classes and attributes while maintaining governance and data integrity standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple integrations and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain CMDB solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
• Implement and support Service Graph Connectors and other automated data ingestion capabilities.
• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP API integrations with external enterprise systems.
• Configure and support Import Sets, Transform Maps, IntegrationHub Spokes, and Flow Designer integrations. Design and implement scalable data ingestion, transformation, normalization, and reconciliation processes to support onboarding of new data sources and migration of configuration data into the CMDB.
• Analyze incoming data sources and perform validation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Perform data profiling, data quality assessments, and gap analysis to compare incoming datasets against existing CMDB records, identify discrepancies, and recommend remediation strategies to improve data integrity.
• Evaluate source system data models and data structures to determine mapping requirements, transformation logic, identification rules, and reconciliation strategies necessary for CMDB integration.
• Develop reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and data quality metrics to assess CMDB health, integration performance, and the effectiveness of data onboarding initiatives.
• Configure and support ServiceNow ITOM capabilities, including Service Mapping and Event Management.
• Develop and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and other platform automation components.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, reconciliation issues, data quality concerns, data transformation errors, and CMDB-related incidents.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, security, and asset management teams to onboard new data sources and improve existing integrations. As a ServiceNow CMDB & Integration Developer, you are responsible for the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of CMDB-related capabilities within the ServiceNow platform. You will serve as a subject matter expert for CMDB integrations, Service Graph Connectors, ITOM technologies, and data quality management.

You will design and support automated integrations that populate and maintain configuration item data from enterprise systems, cloud platforms, infrastructure monitoring tools, security solutions, asset management platforms, and other authoritative data sources. This role requires a strong understanding of APIs, data transformation, data validation, and analytics to ensure data accuracy and business value. The ideal candidate will possess data engineering skills necessary to assess, map, transform, and integrate large datasets from authoritative source systems while maintaining CMDB integrity and alignment with Configuration Management and CSDM standards.

You will partner with infrastructure, engineering, operations, and application teams to improve visibility into enterprise technology assets and services while leveraging ServiceNow best practices to drive data quality, operational efficiency, and automation.

As a senior member of the ServiceNow team, you will contribute to platform development standards, mentor other developers, perform code reviews, and help establish scalable solutions that support the organization's Configuration Management and IT Operations strategy.
