Job summary

VSG Business Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Architect for the GO.gov program, based in Herndon, VA or remote. The role requires end-to-end platform design ownership and leadership of developers and business process consultants. Federal delivery experience and RBAC/ACL design are essential.

Location preferences include local to Herndon onsite 4 days/week; remote candidates accepted. Clearance: MBI obtainable after start (about 6 weeks).

Qualifications

• Senior ServiceNow architect with end-to-end platform design ownership.
• RBAC/ACL design, Service Portal, Flow Designer, Script Includes, scoped application architecture.
• Inbound/outbound integration design (scripted REST APIs, mTLS, certificate/keystore handling).
• Data model design and knowledge/user criteria access control.
• Federal delivery experience (FedRAMP, Section 508, CUI).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a ServiceNow expert guiding clients through complex and demanding implementations and advising on best practices (ServiceNow and IBM).
• Mentor and lead developers & business process consultants; work independently and as part of a team.
• Handle change ambiguity and manage time effectively while delivering results.

Program description:

GSA GO.gov will deliver a single, travel and expense (T&E) managed service to support all Federal, civilian employees and to enable the mission of 124 government agencies through an intuitive, secure, and secure customer experience, that mitigates transition cost and risk. GO.gov is the 3rd generation of the E-Gov Travel Service program and will enable Federal travel and expense management for the next 15 years.

Location: Local to Herndon, VA preferred but will accept remote candidates. If local to Herndon, resource must be onsite 4 days per week.

Clearance: MBI which they can obtain after starting (takes about 6 weeks)

Position Description

This role involves being a ServiceNow expert guiding clients through the most complex and demanding ServiceNow implementations and providing advice on best practices (ServiceNow and IBM). This individual will need to be ambitious work independently and also mentor and lead the developer(s) & business process consultant(s). The ability to handle change ambiguity and good time management will be critical in this role. Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
