We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Architect with a comprehensive mastery of the ServiceNow platform to lead our cloud management and IT operations initiatives. In this hybrid architect-developer role, you will design, prototype, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions that leverage Out-of-Box (OOB) functionality to automate cloud resource provisioning, enforce governance policies, and integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems. You will serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, delivering demos of OOB capabilities, articulating platform features, and ensuring solutions align with business goals without over-customization.

This 100% remote/telework position requires a ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) with hands-on development skills, a passion for prototyping, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to customers effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement ServiceNowsolutions to automate resource provisioning and enforce compliance across multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), prioritizing OOB functionality.
• Develop and prototype high-performance workflows, scripts, and service catalog items using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and JavaScript to streamline cloud resource requests, approvals, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, demo OOB capabilities, and designsolutions that integrate with cloud platforms via APIs, balancing customization with platform integrity.
• Automate cloud operations (e.g., scheduling, monitoring, remediation) while leveraging OOB tools to enhance efficiency and minimize custom code.
• Educate customers and teams on ServiceNow’s full feature set, demonstrating OOB solutions and articulating when customization is truly warranted.
• Stay current with ServiceNow updates, cloud provider advancements, and industry best practices to maintain architectural excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of combined experience as a ServiceNow Developer and Architect
• ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification.
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow development (JavaScript, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub) and hands-on prototyping skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of ServiceNow OOB functionality, ITOM principles, and CMDB management, with a proven ability to demo and explain these to customers.
• Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) using REST APIs and cloud APIs.
• Strong architectural mindset with a bias toward OOB solutions and the ability to justify customization only when necessary.
• Exceptional communication skills to bridge technical teams, business stakeholders, and customers in a collaborative, remote environment.
• Analytical problem-solving skills with a passion for delivering scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – ITOM or Cloud Management certification.
• Experience implementing governance policies aligned with standards like CIS Benchmarks or NIST.
• Familiarity with additional ServiceNow modules (e.g., Discovery, Security Operations, Service Catalog).
• Prior experience in a federal, public sector, or regulated industry environment.
