Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time HVAC Serviceman in Las Vegas, NV. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment including rooftops, chillers, boilers, and water source heat pumps.

You will lead apprentices, conduct diagnostics, and educate customers on proper use and maintenance. A Journeyman or HVAC certificate plus a valid driver's license are required, with union affiliation preferred and OSHA 10 within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience or 7+ related experience.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• HVAC certificate or equivalent training.
• Journeyman status by union preferred.
• Must have valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on commercial/industrial HVAC equipment including rooftops, chillers, and boilers.
• Inspect, test and verify system functionality; replace defective components and wiring.
• Provide intermediate/advanced diagnostics and brazing/pipefitting as needed.
• Lead apprentices during rebuilds/retrofits and provide hands-on instruction.
• Document service activities, timecards and reports accurately and timely.
• Educate customers on equipment operation, maintenance schedules and manuals.

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance for commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
