Job summary

Ascendance Truck Centers is seeking a motivated, full-time Service Writer to join our fast-paced service department. The role involves directing service personnel, coordinating workflow, and maintaining clear communication with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to listen, communicate effectively and resolve conflict with customers, employees and co-workers.
Proficient with PCs and standard business software.
Detail-oriented with ability to read and write clear estimates and notes.

Responsibilities

Receive and coordinate all incoming work and maintain communication with customers and internal departments.
Greet customers, collect vehicle and customer information for repairs, and obtain signatures and repair orders.
Write up vehicle issues clearly and accurately. Explain work performed and charges to customers.
