• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One or more years in a Service Writer role or in a service/parts department is preferred.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with agricultural and/or construction equipment is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word is expected.
• Self-starter with attention to detail, strong organization, and goal-oriented.
• Comfortable dealing with the public and a strong team player.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating work orders.
• Review and maintain repair orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Process records of parts requisitions, invoices, and outside labor invoices for proper accounting.
• Assist in scheduling service work.
• Keep the service manager informed on all work orders.
• Assist with warranties.
• Serve as intermediary between parts and service; be the lead contact for parts.
• Ensure every customer is satisfied with products and service.

The Service Writer position is ideal for someone who is excellent with customers and is a problem solver. You will act as an intermediary between customers and branch staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of experience in a Service Writer position and/or service or parts department.
• Great communication skills.
• Familiarity with agricultural and/or construction equipment is a plus.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Self-starter with attention to detail, strong organization, and is goal-oriented.
• Comfortable dealing with the public.
• Strong team player.
• Able to lift 25 pounds.
