PURPOSE


The Service Tool Coordinator/Delivery Driver will perform standard truck driver duties, including loading and unloading trucks, stocking inventory and parts, maintaining the service tool crib, and transporting orders, as well as maintaining and growing the “Client for Life” concept for existing and new customers.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.


  • Organize tools and equipment according to delivery sites
  • Load and unload trucks and orders for transport
  • Safely transport and deliver a variety of products and materials within the state
  • Manage the tool crib for service field technicians
  • Perform minor tool repair
  • Assist with inventory management
  • Support the new vehicle and vehicle transition organization process
  • Maintain accurate daily records of time worked and equipment usage

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate successfully passing a post-offer drug screening, DOT physical examination and background check.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS


  • Class A CDL license, valid driver’s license, and acceptable driving record

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Consistently adhere to established safety practices
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including ability for weekends and overtime as needed
  • Maintain a clean, processional appearance and demonstrate reliability and
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency with computer applications
  • Work independently with attention to detail and organization, while meeting required deadlines
  • Ability to work a standard 8-hour shift, with flexibility to adjust based on delivery demands, including occasional overnight travel
  • Ability to frequently lift heavy objects

ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY


  • Frequent visits to a job site which would require periods of standing, walking and/or climbing stairs
  • Ability to regularly frequently lift 50 pounds and more occasionally
  • Frequent exposure to variety of temperature and weather conditions
