Southern Tire Mart in Florida is seeking a tire technician to mount, balance, rotate and repair tires across passenger cars, light trucks, and heavy trucks. You will diagnose mechanical issues on semi-trucks and trailers, conduct fleet inspections, and provide routine maintenance.

Respond to roadside calls with a service truck when needed and work with TPMS. Benefits include 401(k) with matching, health/dental/vision/life insurance, and paid on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Overtime may be required.
• Experience with heavy-duty or commercial tires preferred (not required).
• Able to lift/move tires weighing 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical aids.

Responsabilités

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires across passenger cars, light trucks, large trucks, and industrial vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on semi-trucks and trailers, including brakes, HVAC, driveline, electrical systems and PM inspections.
• Conduct fleet inspections and routine maintenance.
• Respond to roadside service calls using a service truck when needed.
• Use and maintain Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).
• Assist with inventory loading, unloading, and physical counts.
• Participate in ongoing training, follow safety protocols, and uphold company policies.

Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires across various vehicle types: passenger cars, light trucks, large trucks, and industrial vehicles.

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on semi-trucks and trailers, including:

Commercial Tires

HVAC systems

Brakes

PM Inspections

Drivetrain

Electrical Systems

Conduct fleet inspections and routine maintenance.

Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic regulations.

Respond to roadside service calls using a service truck (F-350), when needed.

Use and maintain Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).

Assist with inventory loading, unloading, and physical counts.

Participate in ongoing training, follow safety protocols, and uphold company policies.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education & Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

• Possible overtime may be required.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

Experience with heavy-duty or commercial tires preferred (not required).

Ability to lift/move tires weighing between 30-250 lbs., with or without mechanical aids.

Ability to perform physically demanding work involving repetitive motion, forceful exertion, and working in awkward postures or under vibration.

• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Overtime maybe required.
