AHW LLC is seeking an experienced service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural equipment with a focus on Commercial Application Equipment. You will work independently, sometimes with guidance from the Service Manager, and communicate clearly with customers.

Responsibilities include performing complex diagnostics, maintaining service vehicles, and promoting dealer service programs. A strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge base and a valid driver's license are

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing service repairs with a focus in Commercial Application Equipment.
• John Deere Master Service Technician preferred.
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform complex repairs using manuals and special tools.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems in ag equipment.
• Valid driver's license required.

• Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
• Reviews and explains maintenance or repair concerns with customers and documents on work orders.
• May promote and sell dealer service programs directly to customers.
• Maintains the condition of service vehicles, trailers, tools and equipment.
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Follows all safety rules and completes reports and forms as required.
• Accounts for time and materials used in performing duties; may perform pre-delivery setup.
• Maintains a safe working environment and adheres to company safety program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Description

Independently performs complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer agricultural equipment, with a focus in Commercial Application Equipment repair. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager or ASP Complete Goods Rep.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products, with a focus in Commercial Application Equipment
• Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
• Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns directly with the customer and documents on work order
• May promote and sell dealer service programs directly to customers
• Maintains the condition of service vehicles, trailers, tools and equipment
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments. Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments
• Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned dutiesMay perform pre-delivery set‑up and inspection on new equipment
• Maintains a safe working environment and adheres to company safety program at all times
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience performing service repairs with a focus in Commercial Application Equipment
• John Deere Master Service Technician preferred
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to perform complex repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
• Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
• Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred
• Valid driver’s license required

Pay Range

$22.00 - $40.00 per hour. Eligible for Technician Performance program in addition to hourly rate.
