Job summary

Aurora Sewing Center is seeking a locally-based Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and test sewing and embroidery machines. You will work with precision mechanical parts, motors, gears, and electronic controls, using manuals and diagnostic tools.

Aurora Sewing Center is looking for a local mechanically inclined person to join our Technical Service Department. You do not need sewing machine repair experience — we will teach you.

If you have experience working with tools, repairing small equipment, troubleshooting mechanical or electrical problems, or simply enjoy fixing things, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do:

As a Service Technician, you'll inspect, diagnose, repair, maintain, and test sewing and embroidery machines.

Every day is different. You'll work with:

• Precision mechanical components.
• Small electric motors.

• Timing mechanisms.
• Electronic controls.
• Circuit boards.
• Computerized machines.

You'll use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, service manuals, and your problem-solving skills to return machines to like-new operating condition.
