Job summary

Southern Tire Mart in Atmore, AL is seeking a Tire Technician to mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on passenger cars and trucks, and to perform oil changes and brake jobs. You will operate TPMS systems, assist with inventory, and participate in ongoing training while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift/move tires weighing between 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical aids.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work involving repetitive motion, forceful exertion, and working in awkward postures or under vibration.
• Paid on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires across various vehicle types: passenger cars, light trucks, large trucks, and industrial vehicles.
• Oil changes, brake jobs, and light suspension repairs.
• Use and maintain TPMS.
• Assist with inventory loading, unloading, and physical counts.
