Southern Tire Mart seeks a Tire Technician to provide tire servicing across various vehicle types, including passenger cars and large trucks. Responsibilities include mounting, balancing, and repairing tires, along with vehicle maintenance such as oil changes and brake jobs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Ability to lift/move tires weighing between 30–250 lbs.

Job description

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires across various vehicle types: passenger cars, light trucks, large trucks, and industrial vehicles.
• Will be responsible for Oil Changes, Brake Jobs, and Light Suspension repairs.
• Use and maintain Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).

Assist with inventory loading, unloading, and physical counts.

Participate in ongoing training, follow safety protocols, and uphold company policies.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education & Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

Ability to lift/move tires weighing between 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical aids.

Ability to perform physically demanding work involving repetitive motion, forceful exertion, and working in awkward postures or under vibration.
