Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of refrigeration, heating, and air-conditioning systems in supermarkets, convenience stores, and cold storage facilities.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision and develop customer relations, identifying sales opportunities.
• Manage truck inventory, order parts, and maintain responsible parts usage.
• Complete documentation and electronic communication accurately and timely, utilizing hand-held devices.
• Utilize tools and techniques to check joints, install components, and troubleshoot systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot system components such as thermostatic expansion valves, pressure regulators, and control systems.
• Serve as a mentor to other technicians and lead HVAC/R preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; HVAC-R Technical School Degree preferred.
• 7 years of experience or 5 years with technical certification for external candidates.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as walking, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to work nights/weekends.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.
