Job summary

Hog Slat, Inc., a leading provider of poultry equipment and integrated systems, is seeking a Full Time Service Technician for its Forest, MS location. You will service electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems in poultry facilities, delivering reliable repairs and parts recommendations.

You will bill for service work hours, collaborate with in-store teams on warranty claims, and participate in training opportunities with vendors to stay current with equipment and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to use tools associated with the repair of electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Approved safe driving record
• Familiarity with the poultry production industry and the poultry producers in the area preferred
• Knowledge of parts and equipment used in modern poultry production facilities
• At least 2 years of prior experience repairing and replacing electrical and mechanical equipment is required
• Prior experience working with the systems found in modern poultry facilities (e.g. ventilation, feeding/watering, heating...) is preferred

Responsibilities

• Work with Georgia Poultry customers to understand their repair needs
• Give customers recommendations on the best parts & equipment available at Georgia Poultry with which their needs can be addressed
• Repair/replace faulty parts & equipment in area poultry facilities

Job Summary:

Georgia Poultry Equipment Company, a division of Hog Slat, Inc., the world's leading provider of parts, equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking a Full Time Service Technician with excellent customer service skills and experience in electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems to join the team at our Forest, MS location.
