Job summary

Orkin in Wisconsin is seeking a hands-on Pest & Home Protection Technician to join a crew of technicians and grow with a recession-resistant leader. You will inspect and install pest control systems, perform attic and crawlspace services, and handle light carpentry with safety in mind.

We offer paid training, a company vehicle and tools provided, competitive hourly pay of $20-$22 based on experience, benefits, and opportunities to advance within the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in construction, roofing, HVAC or maintenance preferred.
• Ability to obtain state pesticide license within 90 days (training provided).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work on roofs/attics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Work collaboratively on a crew of technicians to complete a job.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
