Description

The primary function of the Mobile Service Technician is to diagnose and complete repairs on heavy and medium-duty trucks, outside of a shop environment. The technician will perform maintenance and repairs at customer locations. This role does not involve roadside assistance. Tasks include updates, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, batteries, part replacement, brakes, and air conditioning repairs.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance procedures.
• Conduct diagnostic tests for issues, failures, and performance.
• Determine actions for damaged parts and systems.
• Use computerized equipment and specialized tooling routinely.
• Complete repairs and tasks safely and promptly.
• Accurately document time, causes, and corrections on repair orders.
• Test components, including driving trucks before and after repairs if necessary.
• Participate in technical training and professional development.

Computer Skills:

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
