Lexus of Lubbock, Texas, a Cavender Auto Family Dealership, is currently seeking a talented Service Technician/Mechanic to join our team and help "Make Confidence Happen".

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor regarding additional services needed and provide repair time estimates.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
• Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a service technician required.
• Strong automotive background.
• Manufacture ASE certifications preferred.
• Successful completion of MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver's license.
