The Maintenance Field Service Technician operates on-site to perform preventive maintenance, repair equipment, and install replacement parts related to NCS vehicle wash equipment and accessories. The Field Service Technician will also train customers on basic equipment maintenance.

What You’ll Do…

• Perform service work on vehicle wash equipment and accessories including troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems to determine the needed corrective action.
• Replace, repair, or adjust parts and systems as necessary.
• Inspect, calibrate, and check all chemicals.
• Run equipment through "cycles" to ensure proper functioning.
• Advise customers on necessary service work and recommend replacements for worn or damaged parts, systems, etc.
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper function.
• Provide information and training to customers on proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Develop and maintain good rapport with customers, striving to provide excellent service and ensure satisfaction.
• Deliver parts or supplies to customers.
• Complete work orders, expense reports, and logs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment changes through training, manuals, and research.
• Manage inventory of parts on service vehicle and in warehouse; report inventory levels.
• Follow all service policies and procedures.
• Keep Service Manager informed of significant issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Lift items up to 75 lbs.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, perform repetitive motions, climb ladders, and stand for long periods.
• Read blueprints and work orders.

What You Need…

• High school diploma.
• Technical/trade school plus 1 year of industry experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a technician or related role.
• Experience in industrial mechanical, pneumatics, PLC, and electrical systems.
• Clean driving record with minimal violations and accidents.
• Ability to travel daily, including overnight stays if needed.
• Availability for rotating on-call weekends.
• Basic math, writing, and reading schematics skills.
• Ability to work independently or in teams.
• Forklift certification preferred but trainable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer use and email communication.
