Job summary

SMB Group is seeking a dedicated Service Technician (m/f/d) to enhance our intralogistics team based in Quickborn. You will be responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with quality guidelines. Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly.
• Skills for maintenance and repairs of systems.
• Confident handling of PLC programming.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and commission systems with high pneumatics.
• Maintain and repair control systems.
• Travel for work approximately 80% of the time.

Skills

Good knowledge of German

Experience with EX protection

High willingness to travel

Confident handling of Microsoft Office programs

Knowledge of ERP systems

Education

Position: Service Technician (m/f/d)

Starting date: Immediately

Responsibilities

• Mechanical (high proportion of pneumatics) and electrical assembly and commissioning of systems
• Maintenance, servicing and repair of systems
• Troubleshooting with control of the PLC program on systems
• Carrying out activities at home and abroad on a 90/10 basis
• Depending on suitability, the areas of responsibility will be adapted
• Compliance with SMB quality guidelines and applicable regulations

Your profile

• Electrician (m/f/d), electronics technician for automation technology/operating technology (m/f/d), mechatronics technician (m/f/d), mechanic with additional qualification electrical (m/f/d), state-certified technician mechanical engineering (m/f/d), state-certified technician Fr. electrical engineering /automation (m/f/d) or comparable training
• Experience with EX protection is an advantage
• High willingness to travel (approx. 80%)
• Good knowledge of German, knowledge of foreign languages an advantage
• Confident handling of the Microsoft Office programs Excel and Word
• Knowledge and confident handling of ERP systems an advantageClass B driver's license
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Friendly and competent demeanor towards colleagues and customers
