Job summary

General Services Corporation is seeking a Service Technician III to join our housing maintenance team. You will diagnose, repair, and install appliances and HVAC units, ensuring safety and quality in every dwelling.

You will work with a supportive team, follow OSHA rules, and provide excellent customer service to residents. The role requires 3+ years in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry and electrical work.
• EPA Certification (Type 2 or Universal) required.
• HVAC installation and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Apartment maintenance experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Passing background check and compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to our Residents.

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to our Residents.
• Repair and/or install all appliances and HVAC units as necessary to maintain a quality dwelling.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Have at least 3 years' experience in HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry, and electrical skills.
• Must be EPA Certified (Type 2 or Universal).
• HVAC installation experience.
• HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Apartment maintenance experience is a plus.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Passing a criminal background check required.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Initiative and customer service skill.
