Job summary

ACT ENTERTAINMENT in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Service Technician I to provide expert service and repair for ACT product lines while upholding quality standards. This role reports to the Service Manager and requires hands-on work in a live event setting.

Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment, performing repairs, conducting quality checks on new and demo gear, maintaining records in the CRM, and ensuring a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year live event production experience or 6 months at ACT as Service Technician I.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read circuit diagrams and troubleshoot electronics.

Responsibilities

  • Provide service for assigned ACT product lines.
  • Diagnose and repair electronic equipment and mechanical components that are damaged, malfunctioning, or in need of replacement.
  • Quality control for new and demo equipment needed for the sales team.
  • Quality control for equipment that has been repaired or serviced.
  • Provide basic customer support via CRM system.
  • Prioritize equipment repairs, keeping customers & stakeholders informed on repair status.
  • Maintain proper records related to labor performed and inventory management.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
