Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Service Technician II in Anaheim, CA. Under supervision, you will repair, service and assemble standard and custom hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. You may guide less experienced technicians and contribute to customer solutions.

Responsibilities include diagnosing components, preparing repair job forms, building and testing equipment, and assisting customers with technical questions. Occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of shop experience required.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics.
• Strong communication skills needed.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to operate shop equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on assigned customer products in the service shop.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and repair components.
• Diagnose system components and propose solutions to customers.
• Prepare job forms listing parts and work required.
• Design, fabricate, machine, and weld parts as needed.
• Repair hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems.
