Motion Industries is seeking a Service Technician II to repair, service, and build standard and custom hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. This role may guide less experienced technicians and requires the ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities include maintenance, disassembly, inspection, diagnosing, quoting, and assisting customers with technical questions. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and customer relationship building.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Three to five years of shop experience or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on assigned customer products that come through the service shop.
• Disassembles, cleans, and inspects system components for repair.
• Diagnoses system components and recommends a solution to the customer.
• Prepares job form listing parts and works necessary to perform the repair.
• Designs, fabricates, machines, and welds parts and components.
