Job summary

Reading Truck is seeking a Service Technician to perform service on auxiliary (after-market) mobile hydraulic equipment at our West Palm Beach shop. You will diagnose, repair, and weld as needed, following standardized procedures for warranty issues.

The role requires advanced hydraulic and electrical repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel or work non-traditional hours as workload demands. Own tools are required.

Qualifications

• Prior advanced hydraulic repair experience.
• Prior advanced electrical experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel overnight and/or work non-traditional schedules as workload requires.
• Must have his/her own tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform service on auxiliary (after-market) mobile hydraulic equipment at the shop.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
• Develop standardized repair procedures to be applied to duplicate warranty issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Nuts and Bolts

• Complete repair, maintenance, welding and fabrication on returned customer equipment at shop as needed
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems
• Develop standardized repair procedures to be applied to duplicate warranty issues
• Other duties as assigned

Required Credentials

• Prior advanced hydraulic repair experience
• Prior advanced electrical experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Welding experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to travel overnight and/or work non-traditional schedules as workload requires
• Must have his/her own tools
