Job summary

Reading Truck Group is seeking a Road Service Technician to perform on-site service and repair of auxiliary mobile hydraulic equipment, including diagnostics and welding as needed.

You must have prior experience in mechanical and hydraulic repair, welding and 12-volt electrical work, a valid driver's license, own tools, and be willing to work non-traditional schedules; Reading Truck Group offers a comprehensive benefits package and paid training.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with mechanical and hydraulic repair.
• Welding and 12-volt electrical experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform road service on auxiliary mobile hydraulic equipment.
• Complete repair, maintenance, welding and fabrication on returned customer equipment as needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
• Develop standardized repair procedures to be applied to duplicate warranty issues.

How You Will Make an Impact

A Road Service Technician at Reading Truck will perform road service on auxiliary (after-market) mobile hydraulic equipment.

The Nuts and Bolts

• Complete repair, maintenance, welding and fabrication on returned customer equipment at shop as needed
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems
• Develop standardized repair procedures to be applied to duplicate warranty issues
• Other duties as assigned

Required Credentials

• Prior experience with mechanical and hydraulic repair
• Welding and 12-volt electrical experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work non-traditional schedules as workload requires
• Must have his/her own tools
