Job summary

Securitas Technology Corporation in Raleigh, NC is seeking a full-time on-site Systems Technician to support post-installation issues on access control, CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.

You will respond to trouble tickets, perform on-site software upgrades, and document changes using a change-control system. A High School diploma is required and an EL06 license or near eligibility is strongly preferred. Training and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires active EL06 license or near to obtaining it.
• Experience with access control, CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.
• Strong problem solving and written/verbal communication skills.
• On-site installation and post-install support.

Responsibilities

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure uptime and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues individually or in a team.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize availability.
• Document system modifications through a change control tracking system.
• Produce technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Perform pre-deployment end-to-end testing of upgrades and major modifications.
• Perform on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.

Salary Range: $26.00 To $35.00 Hourly

Our service teams are responsible for providing service on Securitas Technology products at client sites. The position provides client contact for all post-installation problems on systems and equipment, as well as, special project work, when needed.

This role req uires a n active EL06 license or must be very close to getting their EL06 License.

JobDuties

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance.
• Work individually and as a team to diagnose and resolve application issues.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize application availability and identify system faults.
• Document all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system.
• Produce quality technical documentation describing the conceptual and quantitative facets of system deployment, intended for both a technical and non-technical audience.
• Perform pre-deployment end to end testing of all upgrades and major modifications.
• Perform on site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.
• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• Familiarity installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms
• Bosch, Silent Knighthighly preferred.
• Simplex, Notifier, Edwards, Siemens, or other commercial fire systems is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Certifications in enterprise grade CCTV and Access Control systems a plus
